Browse safely

Keep your visit to yourself.

If someone might check your phone or computer, these steps make it harder for them to see that you visited. No method is perfect, so use the one that fits your situation.

Leave in one tap

Every page has a Quick exit button. Tap it, or press Esc three times, and this page is replaced by weather.com. The Back button will not bring you here.

Quick exit does not erase your history. Use private browsing or clear your history too.

Use a private window

Private (or incognito) windows do not save the pages you visit once you close them. Close the window when you are done.

Use a safe device

If you can, use a device only you use, or a computer at a school or library. Shared phones and family tablets may sync history to other devices.

Private windows and clearing history

Menu names change between versions. These are the usual steps.

Steps for each browser
BrowserOpen a private windowClear history
ChromeMenu (three dots), then New Incognito window.Menu, then Delete browsing data. Pick a time range and check Browsing history.
Safari on iPhone or iPadTap the tabs button, then Private.Settings, then Apps, then Safari, then Clear History and Website Data.
Safari on a MacFile, then New Private Window.History, then Clear History.
FirefoxMenu, then New private window.Menu, then History, then Clear recent history.
EdgeMenu (three dots), then New InPrivate window.Menu, then Settings, then Privacy, then Clear browsing data.
Samsung InternetTabs, then Turn on Secret mode.Menu, then Settings, then Personal browsing data, then Delete browsing data.

If you clear everything, other people may notice the history is empty. You can clear just this site instead: in most browsers, open your history, find ALSOYouth.org, and delete only those entries.
